Sailor Moon

Bout time someone makes a thread about this ^^:.

Umm..Sailormoon was basically the first animes i've encountered back when it was the WB "Anime Hour" in the mornings. The only season that bothered me a bit was SuperS. Probably because of the whole Rini (Chibi-USA) and Pegasus CRAP>=p. Now to answer a few things. Btw.. It doesn't have to be in spoilers since I'm sure no one will be interested in this anime since its old and classic.

- Which do you prefer, the anime or manga? Why?

Once again, I never got to read the manga because at that time, it was on the WB. When it moved to CN to air the rest of R, S and SuperS, I read a few chapters but I couldn't get into it. Sailormoon, to me, is better animated than the manga. I've yet to finish Stars as some slow fansub group is giving their best to sub it.

- Who is your favorite senshi? Why?

I switched from Ami to Hotaru. But so far , I haven't seen much of Hotaru in action like Ami (Mercury) in Sailormoon S. She is definately an important character of the story but as a senshi, not my favorite-- just a favorite character. So yeah. I'm for Ami. She's smart, figures out the weaknesses in their opponents and the end up winning in the end.

- Least favorite? Why?

Sailor Venus was kind of impressing in the first season and a little on S but after that she just went a little downhill. As a normal character, her personality and funny scenes save her.

- Favorite season? Why?


Mine was definately Sailormoon S. Probably better than R. Before this came up in CN i was searching for a few episodes subbed on the net. Hotaru was the main reason why i loved this season. She was also a villian along with her father who had a team called the Witches 5. I can't really think of who was the best in that team but Mimette was fun ;p. Overall , I enjoyed S more than R and SuperS. I still need to watch Stars.

Shenlon. you should try watching the rest. Just dont watch SuperS..or at least skim through it ;p.

Here's alot of Sailormoon stuff. It's been a long time now. Oh well, Im in no rush for Stars. I dont really buy fansubs ;p.

The whole Haruka and Michiro relationship is what turned them US companies the wrong way. Hence , why it wasn't dubbed anymore as you know in the dub version they are referred to as cousins =/.

I think if you use Firefox, You'll get a fair boost or something. Works for me and it downloads a little better than Internet Explorer o.o.

The whole nude/half nude thing nowadays don't really mean shit to Cn anymore. If they wanted to they can always ask for a dub and let it head onto Adult Swim. Back then, they were just too serious with editing but they were able to pull it off. Not like it'll happen anytime soon but it has to end sometime in the future >.>;. Before there were planning a sequel for Sailormoon but i guess they scrapped it. Thus came the horrific Live Action.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
