For the last time. It's Madhouse Studios ;p. As for the music. It's by someone name Yoshihisa Hirano.

Air Master (TV) : Music
Beyblade (TV) : Music
Death Note (TV) : Music Composition
Doki Doki School Hours (TV) : Music
Hanada Shonen-shi (TV) : Music
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Hachiyou Shou~ (TV) : Music
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Maihitoyo~ (movie) : Music
Meine Liebe (TV) : Music
Midori Days (TV) : Music
Ouran High School Host Club (TV) : Music
Seven of Seven (TV) : Music
Strawberry Panic! (TV) : Music

Im not familiar with any of them... Can anyone tell me if this composer is any good? This comes as a shock to me cause i was expecting Kenji Kawai or Taku Iwasaki...

I was speaking idiomatically.

Nice . I could probably live with that I guess..

In relation to the movies, The Last Name trailer is finally out. Looking at this is probably a done deal that L will indeed die in this one. So maybe we'll see 2 more movies -.-;. Remu is seen in this trailer.

Many say it's probably Takada. I didn't really like her that much. She was a kira worshipper;fine, but still boring in the 2nd arc.

I just realized the theatrical release comes out the same day the anime will air. Joy >=].

Reminder to everyone that the first episode airs next tuesday. Found a short commercial of DN on you tube. Nothing special though. Proof enough that the animation looks promising ;p.

This is sort of news...But if anyone is familiar with Jump Ultimate Stars and are keeping up with the news. I think Light Yagami is probably going to be a fighting character XD. It says his name vs that girl from Ichigo 100% .

http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/2...22413lofi4.jpg

Hey. I wouldnt mind playing with a character who uses a scythe. That is badass. Also You can see Near and Mello! Even so. It would be cool if he is playable.

Does anyone know if there a DN fighting game around ?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

dude... the game is real and its plan for a release on the 23rd of november.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jump_Ultimate_Stars

scroll down and you'll see better scans lol.

As far as the movie goes, there is one fansub group that are workin on the movie. They are just not as good as the ones we know.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Im watching the episodes as i type this post down. It looks fuckin lovely. So far the opening theme Im able to adapt to it. It looks good. The concept of the animation is superb to me. This also goes for the bgm Im paying attention at.

EDIT : This anime goes right the books called the manga version XD. I think's its even better O.O. The motorcycle accident was kinda fun to see. The meeting of Yagami and Ryuuku was interesting. Im satisfied now.

Yes yes. I forgot about the funny scene with Ryuuku and his apples. Simply promising XD.

Overall , the whole episode was a perfect introduction to all the hell.

My only guess is that they want the best quality, best wording and sounding episodes . Heh, I dont blame them for wanting to try and be the best ones to sub DN XD. Either shinsen or animeone is fine.

I believe Shinsen Subs and TW have joined forces to sub D.Grayman so we might get another version of episode 1 from both sub groups. I'll take either Shinsen or AonE.

As for episode 1. Seeing that it did cover most of chapter 1. There was also a small apperance of L that didn't show so I assume that scene will come up for episode 2 and a few other chapters that'll roll up into episodes. 37 episodes is enough. Though I think they might be only for the L-Yagami.

That How to Read DN 13 came out before. This kid showed us the real name of L (at live journal DN community).

Spoiler:
Elle Lawlight

which in japanese its
Spoiler:
Eruu Roraito
. Kinda dull but oh well. I expected to find out the name in a mysterious cool way.

EDIT : Another great obvious episode for DN. Introducing 2 more different songs and a very short Sayu Yagami. I dont remember her being that damn short but whatever. Was kickass at the end .

That whole L and Light Tv face off was fuckin trippy. L and Yagami's voice is definately Perfect.

We also got to see Mogi and Aizawa XD.

awesome news,gray.

Episode 3 was released a while ago. They animation was kinda toned down a little in the scene with Raito and Sayu lol. He looked like he had a face(mostly the eyes) of a pixelated Arngrim from VP. but thats just me XD. The rest is fine.

This episode was a few deaths. More of Souchiro's team leaving cause they're scared. We're also introduced to Raye Penbar who lurks around in the shadows. And finally the Shinigami Eyes that's making Raito shit in his pants. The theme song in that scene is pretty creepy btw.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

As much as I like waiting for Live-Evil and know what the characters are saying (if you read the manga), Here's TW's Episode 3.

And so we wrap up another day of Episode 5 with the death of Raye Penbar, Light's stupid looking sweater and the whole L meeting with Souchiro Yagami. You can definately notice the young man in Aizawa with that kick ass fro XD. I believe it covered a few chapters in this one but the next episode we'll definately show L's face.

I also noticed that there aren't those little funny moments of Ryuk at all. Not cool. But at least they make up for alot of things. Episode 6 will start off from chapter 11. And I still need to see the movie.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I usually stick with Live-Evil's fansubs. Whenever I see a Shinsen-Sub version. I'll grab those. The Raw for the movie is out.. No subs yet =/

So far the anime is going all according to the manga and not just the koma panels O.o;. This voice actor for L is doing a great job so far. Good thing it wasn't Paku Romi . Episode 6 was basically about chapter 11 and 12 for those who wanted to know.

I was speaking idiomatically.

To be honest,b-4.

Spoiler:
I enjoyed the movie version more than the original scene where Naomi just left off and commit suicide without anyone knowing. It looks more dramatic and fucked up when he told Ryuuku that he had it planned the whole time.

The biggest moments for the anime , to me, will be:

Spoiler:
when Raito and L get together and start on the whole 2nd Kira case along with the Yotsuba Kira thing. That is set to be the best part of the manga. But that's just me.

Not even a shitty quality released..

Speaking of the movie. There's also a DN Live Action spinoff announced a few days ago. No further info on that.

Episode 11

Spoiler:
Simply amazing. The animation toned down a bit. What's more badass is to see Souchiro risk his life to get the tapes from Demegawa. Everything else is directly from the manga. Same goes for Misa at the end of this episode.

The chick who played Haruhi Suzumiya did a great job taking the role as Misa. So no worries here.

Now that I'm sorta putting things together between the number of episodes and the manga, the first 37 episodes will most likely be just the first arc (11 episodes in total cover up the first 25 chapters.) bewteen L and Yagami. Each episode takes about one and a half chapters or 2 in total. So basically it can't be only 37. Impressive though. They aren't trying to mess this anime up at all. Nice job.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The length is 37 episodes. Read my last post about it.

This week's episode didn't air , huh? Not like it's anything big. There is the final episode of NHK to see then back to DN.

Episode 12 was released today. I must say they have each scene correct and perfect. Only thing that threw my off was the last scene at the end of the episode (plus the song). Shit looked like some soap opera that came out of the WB--err I mean CW O.o??
