The only people im sure that can come back to life is Raye Penbar and his wife because their names were written in them.

This is far from being DBZ. So what if one comes back to life. How could it be dbz related ? I still haven't seen beams coming out of their hands yet nor a power up. If this Death Eraser comes later in the arc, I wouldn't mind. Naruto hasn't done anything dbz related and DONT tell me cause of a lousy fight (Naruto and Sasuke) changed your mind about it. Its not you saying that but alot of people do and i dont get it. DBZ sure did abuse the reviving bs with the dragnon.


If Ohba does add the Death Eraser into this story, I'm very positive she won't abuse that kind of ability in her work. Not like DBZ at least. Just cause Shounen Jump has mangas/animes that bring a person back to life or drags on the story too much doesn't mean it sucks. Dbz is still one of my favorites. Id never compare it with Death Note. their both different genres and have one thing in common. The words Shounen Jump by the titles.

Other than that, what you said about Ryuku writing his name in the notebook (you're talking about Light, correct? ) , i don't think he'll do it . He just doesn't care what Light does but as long as he doesn't waste too many pages, Ryuku can't do anything to him. It also bothers me that Ryuuku stays with him just cause of one notebook. In One Shot Pilot, he dropped two of them and holds his new one.

Thats what i think the story will be like if it reaches the end.If Light somehow goes into a nervous breakdown, he'll eventually get all angsty and say " i dont want to have anything to do with this anymore" then Ryuuku will show him the death eraser. who knows really? ohba could've have ended it right there(L's Death) if she wanted. However, if she did , fans would cry out and talk shit about it. Instead, she made the successors of L (mello and near) to get back at him. Yeah you're right. 1st arc was the best when Raito and L faced eachother then teamed up to face Kira. It was a great arc but alot of things are happening in the recent chapter.

My theory of the Death Eraser didn't come true but a big turn of events did happen. all i can say.

on a honest note, I think something big might happened. Now that Near is able to talk to Ryuk, Ryuk is gonna start snitching. Near is going to explain his deal with Mello so thatshould be very interesting. it all makes sense as well is to why he and Matt hasn't shown up for a while. Though Matt was gunned down by a bunch of goons, Im sure he also served a purpose of dying that way. Now Near will mourn the death of both L and Mello. Can't wait to see.

1. Ryuuku becomes (what people on the streets call nowadays) a SNITCH.
2. Near gives full explanation to Light/Kira.

Manga Spoilers 104

Chapter 104

If anyone is still with me, Then you know what I'm going to talk about. Near completely son'ed Yagami's ass in this chapter. Since I dont like talking about it much in the other forum (since its full of fangirls and they like going off topic), I'll talk about it here. This was all thanks to Mello for saving Near's ass. Near had explained everything from beginning to end. Its a little complicated for me to put down. Near was talking about how Mello waned to surpass L or just be on top like L. By sacraficing himself, he was in the dark and never to be seen, however, he made a call to Halle that one day about how things are going and what not. Mello was Yagami and Mikami's big mistake in ignoring him. But also Mikami fucked up on one day when Gevanni was following him. He finally noticed on the 26th, the day he went to the bank. From there he stopped watching and from there Near calls in Yagami and his people.

NOTE: There is more to it.

After all the explaination, Near said " Anything else you'd like to say?"
Yagami lost it,started to remember alot of things with him being naked and shit(thats where the fangirls hit it off -.- ), laughed very hard and said.. "I am Kira", with a big smile.

The next chapter will be called Impossible as it was translated.

I still think this story could've ended a loooong time ago. but whatever.

L is looking really, really good in the movie version! So perfect and wierd! But Light is...err..I don't know. His jaw seems so broad compared to the manga version. I know people never honestly look like manga characters, but the character designs in Death Note are much more realistically done than most manga so I figured it would be easier to find somebody closer in appearance.

Also, he looks a bit old. He ages a bit in the manga as it progresses, so I'm curious how they're going to do that between movies. And I think to do this accurately, they should really have more than two...otherwise, they're going to have to invent an ending for the second movie? That never works...

Yeah. Matsuda shooting down Yagami was just fucking awesome. Couldn't have been Aizawa. He did all the talk, Matsuda did the walk. I only wish he shot his hand off completely XD. The way Yagami said his father's name sounded like he didn't give a shit at all. heheh. Matsuda gets alot respect for being a cop. Every fan talked shit about him cause he acted too much like a kid in the first arc. If anyone deserved that role (to me), it had to be Matsuda himself. He stood by Yagami and was loyal to him. In truth, he respected Souichiro more. Can't wait to see that part animated someday.

In the end, Near said that he's just a lousy criminal with a dangerous weapon. I wonder what Near will do now that he finished the job. I hope to see at least one chapter of him just talking about his past or his relationship with L and Mello.

The next chapter is called The End. If it is the end, i know sure for that its going to have a neutral ending.

As for Movie, Tatsuya looks like he just got out of the dentist with a shitload of cottonballs in his mouth. In his young days, he looked exactly like Raito Yagami (battle royale). Im sure he'll do an ok job anyway. My expectations on L were true. He'll do a good job. If anyone seen the Live action NANA movie, he did alright.

I still have hopes for the movie, but IMHO, there will probably be more than 2 movies...
