MAME Emulation - Emulating the Multi Arcade Machine Emulator
I just tried getting back into MAME (updating MAME Plus!, getting upgraded romsets and bios), and I think I've just realized that the emulation scene is a giant brick of bullshit.
Can someone tell me why I have to update my entire rom collection whenever these fools update MAME, which is every 2 nanoseconds. I just decided to delete my entire fuckin' directory cause none of my SNK roms work anymore, and all of my CPS-2 titles (Street Fighter Zero, etc.) are all garbled to shit when booted up. Is there anybody that has been dealing with MAME for the past few years, who knows what the fuck has happened with arcade emulation. I can't even lock down a good forum to ask questions, because there's 9 million MAME sites for every 38 million MAME versions. Most amazing jew boots  |
