My most memorable fire alarm experiences tend to revolve around the time I lived in the university dorms and the RAs practiced drills at some of the most unbelievable times:
1. 7:00 AM when some of us were still asleep. 2. Random moments in the afternoon, which I am usually away at the time and often walk up to a large group of students standing outside the dorms for no particular reason. 3. Late night. And I'm sure some of you have had experienced the indignity of having the fire drill occur while taking a shower. In my case 12:30 AM and in October which made it rather chilly. I was joined by four others who had the talent of bad timing. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
