Chō-Han (Even-Odd)
Since the dice function has been implemented, let's see if a simple game of Chō-Han would work in the confines of this forum.
The rules are simple: Before I roll the pair of dice, you, the player, must guess if the resultant sum of the two dice is either even (Chō) or odd (Han). I then roll, and if it comes up even or odd, the ones who guessed correctly wins that roll. Normally, this game is played with some sort of collateral, but I'll just make it simpler here and just tally up the win-loss stats of the players until I get tired of this. Anyone can join in this game at any time. This is gaming at its most casual and least committed. The roll will happen at Midnight CST (GMT -6), usually whenever a quorum is reached. So be sure to make your "wagers" before each roll to be counted! Win-Loss Stats: Diss 3/3 - 1.000 Acerbandit 1/1 - 1.000 Garr 1/1 - 1.000 Rychord 1/1 - 1.000 Shin 2/3 - 0.666 Zergrinch 2/4 - 0.500 Krelen 0/1 - 0.000 Radez29 0/1 - 0.000 Roll Statistics: Total Rolls: 5 No. Chō: 3 No. Han: 2 Jam it back in, in the dark. |

RESULT: Chō Shin and Acer win this roll! I might make this more a weekly thing, now that I can see how to implement betting "money" into this with a given point set. RESULT: Chō Diss and Rychord win this roll! I've cut down the roll frequency to every midnight CST after having seriously overestimated the possible activity the board games forum might experience. From this point forward, anyone who enters a wager will start with 1000 points, so feel free to bet however much you want to bet for each midnight roll. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
