POKEMON SNAP YES. Especially with free-roaming environments, it'd be awesome.
I never thought Wii Drumkit was such a good idea, mainly you'd be missing out on one of the most important parts of a drumset; the pedals. The bass pedal, specifically. I'd be able to live without the high-hat pedal, but without the bass pedal you're missing out on a HUGE part of drumming. I'd imagine you'd have to choose from a few pre-set bass beats, which would just really suck. I suppose you could duct tape a Wiimote to you foot though. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Actually, now that I think of it more, a Wii drum game would be pretty cool (oh yeah accessory why didn't I think of that
)It could be set up like a Pop'n music game where the beats scroll vertically down. Basically take some drum sheet music, turn it vertically, and have it scroll down. Then of course there'd also be a free mode where you can just drum and do whatever you want. Back to the accsesory though, unless it's something you actually attach to your foot (which, you know, it won't) then it would slide around a lot on the floor. I remember in school we had a shitty electronic drumset where the bass pedal broke and didn't attach to anything, and it slid around all over the place. Very frustrating. Suction cups would work (maybe) on hardwood but on a carpet....maybe weigh it down with a block of lead? Yeah! This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
