Yeah, they do seem to blow shit up a lot, but ten bux says half of the crazy shit they do they are forced to do be the producers to boost ratings. Not that blowing up stuff isn't fun and they don't like to do it (who doesn't?), but I doubt these guys want to be known as "the two guys on tv that blow stuff up" (and they are recognized by this by a lot of people). A lot of what they do can get very complicated mathmatically and takes a lot of manpower to construct, I highly doubt they want to be known only for destroying the experiments they spent so long on.

Of course, not all the experiments are like this. Some of them are really simple. Some of them are too simple, to the point where someone like me with no knowlege on the subjects doubts their methods. Even if they do conduct a bad experiment, though, it's usually entertaining enough for me not to care.
