The DS does have an online fighting game, called Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei

It's made by Treasure, who made Astro Boy Omega Factor and Gunstar Super Heroes. It's obviously a different genre than those two, but I find people who love one Treasure game seem to love pretty much all of them. So whatever.

And Dawn of Sorrow fucking rocks. Personally I found it loads better than Aria. The thing is, I found the default control scheme a little wonky, so I reconfigured it to make sense. The bad news is when you go back to play Julius mode (which you unloack after you beat the game) the controls go back to default and you can't change them, so it makes playing that mode a chore That seriously hurt replay value for me because my brain is simply not compatible with the default control scheme. But whatever, Julius mode didn't look to be nearly as fun as the main story anyway.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, I caved and picked one up, just like I did when the SP came out. I really didn't want to spend the money, but I'm glad I did. This thing is amazing.

Honestly though, I thought the screens would be brighter. With all the talk of "death" on the internet I was a bit let down. But they're still awesome :P Also, I love the new buttons and stylus, but the D-Pad is not my favorite. It's loose in its casing, it slides around a bit, and it feels sorta.....weird. It's not that bad for most games, but powersliding in Mario makes me feel like I'm breaking the damn thing.

Also, anyone try controlling Animal Crossing with the Lite's pad? It's HARD. With the original's pad it felt surprisingly good because it was easier to push diagonals or something. I'm having a really hard time with the Lite's...

There's nowhere I can't reach.

My brother's DS had the same problem. Personally, if you have the money I'd buy a Lite. Black comes out September 13 or something, so if you don't like white you don't have to wait long. I bought the Lite without even needing a new DS and I'm happy as a clam.

My bro's lasted quite a while with a broken hinge (even while playing WW Twisted, although I advise against that), so you should be fine if you decide to wait.

However, Nintendo might still fix it. We didn't call Nintendo, we just shipped it to them thinking that once they got it, they might be more inclined to fix it. It's easier to shoot us down over the phone. We got the DS back a little while later, good as new, with a note telling us that the warrenty didn't cover the damage, so don't send it back like that again. In total it cost like $7 for the shipping.

If you want to fix it, fill out a form at Nintendo.com and just send it in. You're likely to be denied by phone.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

DS and GBA games take YEARS to go down in price. It took Super Mario Brothers 2 on GBA, which was a launch title, something like FIVE YEARS to drop down to $19.99. If it's a popular title, don't hold your breath for a price drop.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
