Ahahaha YES, drowning in Sonic is a horrifying experience.
Sonic 2, Zone 2, Act 2. Chemical Plant Zone. There was a section right before the boss where you had to jump up through a shaft on a bunch of moving platforms as the water level rises. Oh god. When that music started, and I knew I only had a few more seconds, I would flip out. My heart rate would skyrocket and I would start sweating. Terrible experience. I never got past that part as a child, so I missed out on pretty much the entire game. Still when I play that part I get really nervous  Jam it back in, in the dark. |
