You're playing a white man who is single handedly commiting a GENOCIDE in Africa. (Or, Haiti? I dunno where it's set.) That alone - that you're supposedly killing Zombies won't even be mentioned - is sufficent to produce such an onslaught of PC-consent that the "Kill the Haitans!" GTA-VC will look like a kindergarten namecalling in comparison. I guess RE5 will see several banning petitions in the western hemisphere. UNLESS the moral panic about video games has ebbed off till it comes out... Jam it back in, in the dark. Well, it's what? 2 years away? I expect gameplay still to change till then.

I dunno, RE4 was so insanely good, I could live with a pure cosmetic update (=> shinier graphics, new levels, new weapons, same gameplay) for the next game.

Gametrailers.com - Resident Evil 5 - Captivate 08 Trailer
New trailer. Looks more and more like 4 with more glitz and enemies. Which is totally fine, as long as they manage to implement some minor changes like... The ability to move while shooting. Though the trailer doesn't seem to imply that happening. Meh. It's still going to be a very good game. The RE4 formula is good enough to be used again is it is.
