Not to forget that the people complaining about the length here are probably all avid fans, who've breezed through Halo 1 and 2 countless times and spent days in the multiplayer section of those games.
So, I'm not that surprised if "hardcore gamers" of that sort manage to romp through a single player campaign in no time on a very high difficulty. But I guess when I pick up Halo 3 (I've yet to find me copies of 1 and 2, never played them before...), I'll take a wee bit longer. And I GUESS I'll be buying it for the single player campaign. But I'm new to XBox, so I just might jump into multiplayer... Still, up to know I've bought pretty much every single game I own - bar some Nintendo party games - for the single player.
