Here's all guides I have:
  • Silent Hill 2
  • Final Fantasy VIII
  • Final Fantasy XII collector edition
  • Resident Evil (remake)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
  • Kingdom Hearts 2 collector edition

I don't buy guides mainly for the walktrought, it more piece of collection even if I don't have a lot XD (I have other thing to buy before a game guide XD)

or I buy guides for games I'm not good at, which was the case for SH2 and RE.

silent Hill 2 was my first horror game and my first guide. I was so scared the first time I played that I didn't touch the game for one years before trying to finish it XD and I use the guide all the way through the game to know what was coming at me XD The guide is good. It's base on the normal mode of the game but at each puzzle they show the solution for both normal and hard riddle mode. It was good to know which room has which item and which room as monster only XD The design of the guide is perfect for the time of game, with color that match SH2 atmosphere and all ^^

I bought RE guide at the same time that I buy the game. I just suck at Resident Evil (except RE4 XD) I always take one and even 2 clip before killing one zombie XD So I use it mainly to go straight to the item I want and to know where are the monster that I have to evade XD I really like the secret sealed section which show all the ending and how to get them.

Final Fantasy VIII guide was because I love FFVIII and decided to buy the guide for the hell of it XD but it was really for sidequest and to know which monster drop which item for some weapon ^^ I pretty well done guide.

I bought Final Fantasy XII Collector Edition mainly for the artwork ^^ but I'm the kind of guy that like to go straight for the story the first playthrough and do sidequest after. So all those guide help me to go where I want without getting lost or searching for nothing. For now I use it only when I,m lost and for information on bosses. I'm curently playing the game and so far the guide helped ok. I think it will shine when I'll start to do all the hunt or want all the ultimate weapon of the game ^^ The artbook is awesome too but sadly I got stupid Vaan cover ; ; (wanted Basch or Ashe)

Again the KH2 one was mainly for the artbook and I got the "yellow" cover which was the one I wanted ^^ I didn't really use the guide because I bought it after completing the game XD this one was really mainly for the collection purpose ^^ I think I use it for the little sidequest for the ultimate keyblade.

and finaly the Zelda one was a gift from nintendo power. I didn't use it much at first because I wanted to finish the game on my own first. I check it only when I was like totally lost (like in the stupid "sky temple" -_-) and it help me a lot to get all pieces of heart and all the sidequest ^^

well I guest I can't be more precise about all the guides I have lol

Jam it back in, in the dark.
