wow they weren't kidding when they were going for a fast pace gameplay! It remind me a little about the gameplay of FFX-2. Even if FFX-2 wasn't that great, his gameplay was one of my favorite in an FF game, so I'm really excited to try it out! (I hope the demo will not be region locked)

How ya doing, buddy?

I guess I'm impress that they already have some dub for FFXIII, but I wonder if this was made only for that video or if they really are working on the dub.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

well Lost odyssey did it on the 360 so it could be possible, but I remember reading an interview that they said it wasn't possible for the 360 version because of space (maybe FFXIII take more space than lost odyssey)

but on the ps3 it's still possible but will SE do it on the ps3 and leave it out of the 360? I don't think so...

I don't think they re-animated the lips sync for the English dub, they probably just adjusted the dialog to match lips movement.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I think it's more in the idea of: highly original and influencing the development of future events: a seminal artist; seminal ideas.

but we can still argue on that definition >.>

Final Fantasy XIII Video Game, TGS 09: Official US Trailer HD | Game Trailers & Videos | GameTrailers.com

I'm surprise, the voices acting seem pretty solid so far. In-game cut-scene seem like they have an updated lips-sync with the English dialogue while they change some sentence in the CG cut-scene to match the Japanese lips-sync. Work pretty well I say. I pretty much like all the voices, they work well with each character.

Final Fantasy X's laughing sequence bad?
you know that even in the Japanese dub that scene is laughingly bad?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

They said that they were going to redo the lips-synch for the English version, but that probably only apply to the in-game cinematic. CG cut-scene will probably stay with the Japanese synch and they will like you said, modified the script to work with the Japanese lips-synch.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

the only reason they said they won't put both dub on the sp3 version is that they want both the 360 and ps3 version to have all the same feature. They are aiming for the 360 version to be 3dvd so there's no way they are able to include all the Japaneses tracks...

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'm pretty sure they could do it on both console, that whole thing is just saying: "we are too fucking lazy to do it and want to make some money on the international version that will come out 4 months later" ...

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

How hard can it be, just add god damn Japanese audio or w/e. It's not like they have to rerecord the damn thing.
that mean having both Japanese and English CG version on the disk, which take a lot of space. (I think)

How ya doing, buddy?

well the in-game voices cut-scene work like that I think, where they can just switch audio but when it come to their CG cut-scene, I think the audio is "embedded" with the video.

In Japan there's only the ps3 version being release this Christmas. The US and PAL version are suppose to come out almost at the same time (probably 2-3 days apart) spring 2010 on both console.

They already working on the port at the same time as the ps3 version.

Final Fantasy XIII Video Game, International Trailer HD | Game Trailers & Videos | GameTrailers.com

It's started ok until that Leona Lewis song :\

but beside the song the game seems pretty good to me. I was never really picky for voice acting and I like what I heard in this trailer. I just thought they would have try to make a better job at lips syncing. It was kind of a hit or miss in that trailer.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

The song is ok for a mainstream song. I just think it doesn't fit into the game.

Yeah exactly, that's why it doesn't bother me that much.

btw, any news on a limited edition in NA? I still haven't pre-ordered just in case something like that pops up.

The PS3 is only the better version because Square-Enix fucked up the compression on the 360, but hey it was that and get it now or wait another six month for both version just for it to be properly ported on the 360.

WolfDemon: For that particular Eidolon, you only need to use the saboteur/sentinel and medic/sentinel combo. Doing a lot a status effect on it, is what make the progress bar go faster. Even if he already have all the status effect you can inflict to it and just pop medic when the sentinel need it.

And 3000cp is almost nothing now, because in Ch.12 when you unlock the lv5 crystarium it take 10000 to 20000 for one stats >.>

So I just finish the game last night. I'm pretty happy with how the story turn out to be. It was a good adventure. And about the ending: (spoiler obviously)

Spoiler:
I was really surprise that the crystallization of Cocoon became the logo of the game and that you understand that it's Fang and Vanille transforming into Ragnarok in that logo. It's a really nice touch. I was kind of touched by the ending, it was a little sad in his way.

Still, Fang and Vanille being Ragnarok out of nowhere at the end was a little confusing. I which they would have explained more why those two and not any other pulse l'cie.

Well since I have now unlocked all the crystalium grid, I guess i'll go try to finish those sidequest now.

I was speaking idiomatically.
