Super Mario Galaxy was the reinvention of the platformer that the stagnating genre desperately needed. I eagerly await the inevitable clones, because I think the mechanics and general gameplay ideas and innovation within the game can be flagrantly copied and improved upon, and I'm more than happy to play through those derivative titles.
