Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection was just released in Japan and Hong Kong on the PS Store.
2000 yen, which is ~$16-17 USD. Hopefully the rest of the world sees a release soon! http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/new...hp?story=12225 I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Odd. My bluetooth headset works perfectly with Resistance. What kind of error are you getting?
And if you do get it set up, remember that you have to hold down L3 to have people hear you (if you're not in a team game.) I was speaking idiomatically. |
Definately
What's your PSN name? Should start up a name topic perhaps, now that people can actually find PS3s!What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
There was a cryptic message just recently posted over on NeoGAF regarding the PSN title GripShift DLX... Seems that it'll be released at noon on Thursday the 4th -- which would technically be today! 10 bucks, looks like a solid game too. It's a remake of a PSP title of the same name (minus the DLX bit).

For 15 bucks it should at least include a bloody USB cable.
I'm keeping my PS2 and its memory cards around until PS2 games look as good or better on my HDMI cable connected PS3, as my S-video connected PS2... What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Yeah, I was referring to how they show up on HDTVs. There's massive scaling issues with any output from the PS3 causing things to look even jaggier than the best output on a PS2. I'll see if I can take some photos to show the difference.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
HDMI > Component > S-video > Composite
is how it goes pretty much. So I'd go for component ![]() There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Yeah. They are both analog inputs (HDMI is digital, and the standard for HD connections), so component will be your best bet of getting the best image your monitor can display.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
VF5 is indeed awesome
Been playing a ton of Quest mode tonight, got up to 3rd Dan and won 2 official and 2 unofficial tournaments before logging off for the night ![]() How ya doing, buddy? |
Well I suppose it may be a consolation that this is my first VF title I've played ever haha. The prospect of its depth and being a shiny PS3 game pulled me in, and like Ridge Racer 7 before it I'm becoming pretty engaged with a genre I haven't spent much time with in the past.
I only gotta say, this game needs me to get a stick... My thumb can only take so much abuse on the d-pad. Considering picking one up with whatever birthday money I happen to score. Oh, and I'm working on Lion in quest mode. I hate his voice to the extreme, but he's especially fun to play. How ya doing, buddy? |
I helped cure cancer last night
Warm fuzzies for all PS3 owners. Oh, and background downloading is pretty spiffy. It literally just sits in the background and plugs away. You can also queue things up. Apparently the downloads persist through playing games and movies as well. Additionally, developers have the code to access your PSN friends list within a game now, and so Motorstorm will be recieving an update to allow for in-game friend list functionality on Friday apparently. The next step of course is to allow access to the XMB while ingame, or have universal messaging/invites for all online games. Most amazing jew boots |
MK2 is pretty sweet, very nostalgic. I couldn't remember any of the moves the first time haha. The online play is pretty smooth. It basically pits you up against someone else ala playing at the arcade. If you give up on continuing, the person starts playing computer opponents again.
One thing I have to say though: The menu before the game launches is ANNOYING AS HELL. The sound is SO LOUD, and is extremely grating and annoying. I have to mute things until the actual game loads it's that bad. It's like small children dying every time you move the cursor in the menu. FELIPE NO |
