Just give the fucking Dash invincibility frames, it doesn't necessary have to be a "roll" so much as a move with evasive properties. I mean, how vulnerable are you coming out of dash in that game, anyway?

PS: Nothing should emulate Ninja Gaiden 2 level design. NOTHING.
