I think that what he did was basically take a snapshot image of his system, and it spanned 18 discs.

So dude, pop one of the discs in and copy it with Nero, Alcohol 120%, or whatever happens to be your burning software of choice. Then repeat for each of your discs.

Though I do agree that optical media is so 1996 when you can get terrabyte Lacie external drives and whatnot.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
