I don't think that will go over too well for the gimmick itself. Remember how DX melted down the last time when one of it's members had the WWE title :/. I agree that it would do him good for fan support, but it'd be messing up an already good thing. Plus Triple H obviously doesn't like Cena.

It's true. Taker doesn't appear very often on Smackdown. He's had a title shot, and that huge fued with Kali, but that's been it. Sonic, Cena switching with Lashley would be great.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well in any event, this kind of fued calls for a HITC, boiler room brawl, Rumble in the Samoan Jungle, whatever, it just can't be a match that allows DQs, countouts, yadday yadda.

Yes on TNA being in new time slot. Why always after 10? Same for ECW(and I've never seen an ECW match in my life).

Ultimate Warrior is SO OLD! He's not even 'thick' anymore. He needs to stay gone, he was so awesome and then he decided to hang himself emotionally. Even if he does come back he'll be a lolwarrior + no one will wont to work with him given his history.

Angle is on good terms with the WWE, or more importantly, Vince.

I'll miss his entrance. That crazy walk of his. Conway huh... don't know why Vince made him a lolrob so fast. He was undefeated for a bit with his Buff Bagwell inpersonation.

Mortis, that post was a blast from the past @_@ and all true. It's good that the old WCW title is now more in check and is actually being around someone's waist.

Well next week on Smackdown history will be made. RAW Champion and Smackdown Champion will meet in the same ring. 6 man tag style; I'm real sick of 6 man tags, they're so boring. This could be the thing that sets the end to the brand split in motion.

More or less the former WCW wrestlers appeared to not have been pushed enough. But that could be reluctiveness on thier end. As for the curving, that thing in middle of the center piece in your pic? Yea I notice that's gone. At one point that belt used to be the WCW's version of the IC title(International Championchip; Sup Rick Rude), although I can't remember what design the world title had. @_@ the tag titles used to look like the old old WWE title with the big freaking Eagle wings XD.

There is one thing I'd to know.. Who was "the powers that be" ? It was right when he/they(??) came in as the new uh GM/commissioner, basically whatever Bishoff was, that I couldn't watch Nitro anymore. Tommy, I don't think anyone cares about the ECW brand.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Dusty Rhodes showed up a long time ago and people thought he was going to be the GM. Vince - jokefully I might add, hinted to him being the next GM. Vince is probably looking for someone who is a straight arrow like Long is.

A better example would be Undertaker versus Jeff Hardy on a RAW, where they seriously teased Hardy winning the title on several occasions. That was classic to me.
One I consider a classic and the shocker of the world, was Hogan dropping that leg on Savage, and announcing the birth of the NWO. Then there was those occasions that DDP would win the title right on nitro, including that match he had with sting. I don't remember the outcome of it though, but they both reversed each others signature moves. Then there was Vader and Flair at the Clash of the Champions, I'll never ever forget that match.

Oh yea. Vince knows that someone is going to do something that would make sense. Sense is not Vince. When he passes, or retires which ever comes first, I'm hoping Tripe H takes over, or even Stephanie. Yea I'm thinking they would do things a lot better.

That is true, but it was a classic so I pointed it out. What DID happen on regular TV was when fake Sting got out of that limo and assaulted Lugar . You know how well executed that was. It killed real Sting's rep for a long time. It got silly when I think at War Games, he was in the cage with the fake sting and he splashed him I think twice and Lugar still didn't believe him. Ah yes thanks for the info on 'the powers that be'. The corp. part of WCW was on a wild rollercoaster, I remember Flair was the head, then Hogan, then uhmmm Mr.Perfect?, man it was a lot of people.

Ahahahaha.

This is shock to me as well. I can't wait for it to go prime time, cause then I'd be able to watch it. TNA is going to rock for real now. With Charisma Cage(:P), Angle, and TNA's own original guys, they could be on the up and up.

I have to give credit to Vince though, he's using the right formulas to make his product more likeable, however...he's still a long way off from re-creating the attitude era. So far too many lame gimmicks, like that Japanese dude with the redneck/cowboy gimmick, wtf.

This company has no limits to where it can go. The sky is the limit and the main reason is because they brought the “real” back into wrestling and that is a perfect fit for the greatest wrestler in USA Olympic history. I have room to grow here and to help TNA grow. Working for these caring and very giving employers of TNA makes me feel like I have a purpose and that the sky is the limit. I don’t feel trapped or held back like I did the first six years in my tenure with the other company. They held me back. Now, our wonderful audience will see the real Kurt Angle doing what I love to do – real wrestling – and that’s what puts a smile on my face each time I come to work. I even smile when I think about it. TNA will be the most watched television show on cable television. It’s only a matter of time. Now, I get the opportunity and privilege of being a part of it. Thank you TNA for saving my career, my life and my desire to do what I love. I will be here in some capacity for the rest of my life. That’s real…that’s damn real.” – Kurt Angle

No it wasn't just you. More fueds by emoedge and lolcena made it sour for the most part. They could have did away with the end part of the show if you know what I mean(not talking about the thing with JR). It wasn't necessary.

He does not see "entertainment". He sees "wrestling".

Now my thoughts are that Angle is not an entertainer, he is a wrestler.

Going back to what Joey Styles said.. Vince has his employees called "superstars", not "wrestlers". This point is brought up several times in not only this thread by in WWE itself. That's a huge red light going off there.

I don't know about him being a seller like Rock and Austin, but Rock is pure WWE. Austin came from WCW which was more like 50/50 on entertainment/realism scale. Rock is like 80/20. True though, they brought in the ratings, so did Triple H back when DX was huge.

Got dammit Kostaki how you typed that big ass reply faster than my shitty tiny ass reply ; ;.

These are only my thoughts on Angle and this draw business. Angle has great mic skills, but like with all other wrestlers, he was given lame gimmicks. When he changed his style entirely to technical/mat wrestling you could tell that aspect of his job he took more to heart. Before it was just hard illegal hits, missed moonsault after missed moonsault and bam Olympic Slame 1 2 3. Now you have hits, belly to back, suplex, reverse-a-thon, wear down submission holds, an a Olympic Slash set up for the Ankle Lock(grapevine).

Yea no draw, but his matchs have been good to watch this past year and a half. Vince is not using his "superstars" correctly(even Nitro, but atleast he is allowed to use a lot of his athlectism). Giants do not last forever, we all learned that from WCW(which killed itself, and not Vince.) but Vince's wacky booking and gimmicks will be the undoing of the WWE.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Bishoff would need a lot of money to restart his own organization. And he'd need a lot of followers. He doesn't have many, and while I'm with the guy on this whole issue, his book isn't going to help matters. You can see it in his eyes though, he has a lot of regrets regarding WCW.

About the brand split ending, yea it needs to happen. I forgot how that all started anyway.

Actually, I'll be fucking pissed if WCW is revived as ANOTHER BRAND of the WWE. I will stop watching WWE-anything if that happens. It happened with ECW didn't it? Haymen talking all that shit about Vince, and it only was a leading up to a "revival of a new brand".

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I agree with Darsh. . . .

Spoiler:
I didn't want to see Edge win though. He sucks even more as a damn champion.

Kostaki how about this one:

"Edge had to go with the release because he couldnt use his left arm for the suplex". o_o

It will be shitty if the original members aren't in it. Minus Sting, uhm..forgot his name, used to be with Rey when Rey had his mask off, Bagwell, etc. Basically it better have the "founders". Hogan, Nash, Hall and with the same intensity. And the heel turn for Hogan has to have the same shock to the world, if not more.

I guess we can rule that out as not being shitty huh?

Really mad out how LAshley basically got screwed. If he wins, it will be by luck. . .

That fucking blew me.
Spoiler:
Nash AND Kane.

I suppose it's no big loss with Kane off RAW, but shit, he's like one of the few GOOD wrestlers on the roster.

I can sympathize with daggot, luckily things like WWE 24/7 exist, and video stores with massive wrestling archives -.-. And you know even though I watched wrestling during 'the good 'ol days', it feels like I took those for granted.

I know Slash. RAW is going to get intensely boring for me. And the outcome of that match wasn't even by fair means.

Sonic - while a nWo angle most likely would not have worked out, having Nash back in the WWE would have been a huge step towards doing things right.
