It sounds like you're just really just asking for more adventure games. In that case, Syberia comes to mind as one that might interest you. The new Sam & Max episodes don't have the best story, but are pretty hilarious regardless.
And you can't forget the classics, like Myst and its sequels. The backstory is ridiculously deep, and the music can be quite captivating at times. I hear the Myst novels are worth reading as well. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
