I've had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. It was done years ago when I was 16, and the teeth hadn't fully appeared yet when I had it done. But I just chose to get them out so I didn't have to worry about them. One tooth did cause minor pain anyway. I remember that recovering wasn't a pleasant experience at all since my gums were quite painful and I couldn't open my mouth or talk much. The bleeding lasted for a full week, and I only ate mashed potatoes. Even two weeks after the surgery, my mouth still hurt quite a bit while talking.
