I admit that I felt that way about Chrono Trigger. I played a lot of other RPGs that came much later so Chrono Trigger's graphics didn't appeal to me when I considered playing it. But I was surprised that I ended up liking the game a lot.
Some FMVs from Final Fantasy IX felt like they didn't belong at times. I think I still remember one that just featured a shot of an important location for a few seconds as opposed to the more elaborate FMVs that the game also had. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
