I usually find myself using fire or ice spells first when having black mages in battle. One spell I almost never use is wind since it never helped me too much in all the games I've played. In Suikoden III, most of the earth-based spells helped me a lot, so it also depends on the game and the enemies.
As for my own, I'd probably choose fire magic first. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
