Sailor Moon was probably my first experience with anime. I saw a few episodes at a friend's house years before another friend began lending me VHS tapes with Japanese audio and English subtitles. That was an interesting experience at the time since I wasn't used to reading subtitles while watching anything.
I had also recently received my own computer and managed to learn a little more about anime that way. It wasn't until a few years ago that I really began expanding my anime library though. I think I have about twenty or so titles now that I still haven't seen. They're either collecting dust on my shelf or on disc somewhere. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
