Your not alone, that is quite true with alot of bands i also dig. the first albums of alot of band's tend to be better then the rest of their work is because they are just starting and have that creative edge and energy that comes with starting a career in a band. Very few artists/groups ever record anything that eclipses their first or second album.

The last time I heard a Rage song - albiet it was old - was in the credits of one of the Matrix sequels (Reloaded I think). I like a lot of their songs, even if some of them are rehashed from the "originals".
