About the only time I ever gamble is when I really need the money for something. For instance, back in late 2000 I seriously wanted a PS2 since there were several games I wanted to play for it, but I didn't have the cash. I received $50 for Christmas from the Grandparents, so I took the money and went to play Bingo with it that night since my Grandmother someone to take her to the Bingo Hall. I decided to stay as well, and ended up turning $35 into $400.
Needless to say, I had my PS2 the very next day. I do buy lottery tickets from time to time, though most of them always come up short as usual. Did win a couple hundred from getting four numbers one time, but other than that nothing. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
