Most people who played NiGHTs into Dreams for the Saturn (and got the analog controller with their game) were already geared and ready to use that kind of controller on the Dreamcast, but it just really didn't flow too well with me when I played with it. For all intents and purposes, the Dreamcast controller to me at least is the worst of them all.
Most will tell you that it was the original XBOX controller before the S-series launched, but at least MS fixed that with the S-series quick enough. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

The Saturn controllers, especially the second design release that began when they started to give out the three free games with the Saturn purchase (at least as I know it in the US) was one of the sexiest controller designs I've ever had the pleasure of using. It worked with literally every game you played on the Saturn and it did it well.
Sega didn't do that for the Dreamcast though, which kinda sucked. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
