So has anyone's Premium Edition shipped yet? I ordered mine a week and a half ago and it's still listed as Backordered on the order page. Getting kinda worried here that I may not have ordered it soon enough.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
My order still reads Backordered, and there's a pending charge on my debit card.
Now either this means that they shipped it and failed to update the status, or I'm double fucked. I'm leaning toward the latter. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
TALES OF VESPERIA PREMIUM EDIT - Xbox 360 1 1 $69.99 Shipped
About damn time. Hope everyone else's orders ends up getting filled too because word across the net is that the shit is actually becoming very rare to find. Now comes the waiting game. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
While I'm glad that PS3 owners will be able to have another JRPG title to mess around with, I'm also quite bothered by the fact that 360 owners who bought and supported the title from day one are getting shafted by a PS3 re-release. To me this is really a dangerous precedent, one that has me on the ropes about ever buying a JRPG release on the 360 again due to a superior version popping up on the PS3 so quickly. If they plan to release multi-platform, then finish the game so both systems can equally get what the disc can't hold via 360 release + free DLC and the PS3 release.
Should I ever buy a PS3 now, and I end up buying the PS3 release of Vesperia, I'll have forked over an additional $69 (because you know there's gonna be another special edition) in order to play the game the way it was meant to be played originally. Again, I'm not saying PS3 owners shouldn't get the game, but it sucks that 360 owners will miss out on extra content because we beta tested their game. Most amazing jew boots |
Provided it releases as an expansion pack of sorts, 800 points really isn't too much of an issue should it come to that. Better than buying the entire game again, that's for sure. A lot of us with Elites still have 80GB+ available on our HDs, more than enough to carry that kind of content.
I'm sure they'd rather just have us buy the game again though, which is fucking sad. Most amazing jew boots |
Tales 10th Anniversary
The 360 special edition bonus that goes with the promotional code in the manual has been revealed as a "limited run" Volume 2 version of the Tales 10th Anniversary soundtrack CD. If you bought a special edition, head on over there and sign up with your code to get your soundtrack. I'm disappointed as hell to be honest, I'd rather have gotten DLC that either unlocked Patty Fleur (she's on the disc) or DLC that unlocked the Japanese audio track (it's also on the disc lol), but instead we're given something that'll gather dust on the shelf. Well whatever. Free is free. FELIPE NO |
I'm not sure whether or not her character or battle data is on the disc. It's pretty safe to assume that if they can leave an entire audio track on the disc and not say anything, that her data has to be in there somewhere.
I am a little bitter, would have been nice to save the money I spent for the PS3 release down the line when I eventually pick one up rather than have to buy it twice if I want to enjoy the extras. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
