I like how they got all lazy and just decided to use a Yoshi's Island character as the sidekick mascot for Bowser for the rest of their games. The Koopa Kids, while some might be ugly, did at least bring in some personality and character into a world where Mario and Wario and Luigi and Waluigi and Peach and Daisy and Toad and Toadette exists. Now instead of Bowser and seven unique Koopa Kids, we have Bowser and Bowser Jr. Bleh. Also a hearty lol to NSMB being better than SMB3. They are about on par unfortunately, and only because of newer hardware allowing for more interactivity with Mario and his surroundings. I would give my soul for a "new" Super Mario Bros. 3 in a heartbeat. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
