After having driven cars with both types of transmissions I prefer manual over automatic. I feel like I've more control over my car and it's defintely a far more interactive experience than simply sitting on your ass whilst watching the road pass by. And since I don't apply make-up, eat, or talk on the phone while I'm driving I don't have to worry about not being able to shift in time.
