Hmm...
It was this sound. See attachment. I was among the rare few that missed hit titles like of Final Fantasy and Zelda. I started my rpg rampage from Dragon (Warrior)Quest series. I think its because my rental video store was one of those niche stores that carried decent titles but the likes of FF and Zelda were always rented out. I really miss that Two-Day Video store. After DQ, I went on to play other nes gems like Legend of the Ghost Lion, Gargoyle's Quest II, Faria, Crystalis and Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom! Jam it back in, in the dark.
