Hey kids, nobody likes wannabe Marines.

I'm getting a Scholarship to go through Air Force ROTC. Should be good, I plan on flying, as pretty much everyone who joins the Air Force (and is smart enough to realize that only officers fly) wants to.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Just so you know, at my brother's graduation, they did a 4 mile run in 20 minutes. Pretty much in front of our eyes.

Also, half of boot camp is physical, the other half is mental. Going in with a pissy ass arrogant attitude is a sure way to get your DIs pissed at you and the rest of your platoon. The DI's job is to break you down both mentally and physically. Arrogant people have a harder fall when they fail.

I'm sure you two will make good Marines some day, don't get me wrong, but you aren't Marines just yet.

As soon as I'm done with college it's straight into the US Airforce for me. I want to fly something/anything. And if I don't get to fly, I hope I'll get to do something fun with electronics/computers. On a side note: I intend to find out if the USAF really has a Stargate program....
Hey, good luck to you. I can't imagine OTS will be incredibly tough for the AF.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

He's in the Marines.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

This probably doesn't count, but I'm a military wife. My husband is a Major in the Army and has been deployed to Fort Jackson, SC for almost two years now...training up those kiddies to ship 'em off to Iraq.

Best of luck to all of you, and thanks. =)
Is it just me, or are you always riding your husband's accomplishments?

Thanks man, even though I have a few more years of college to power through first. Grrrr.... I can't imagine OTS would be hard either...but...who knows. All the guys I've talked with went in as enlisted men and not through OTS.
Well, it will be harder than enlisted boot camp, that's a given. But it's also not saying much. We are talking about Air Force boot camp.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I don't see how my being married could make me see how tough it is being a military wife. And I don't mean to be offensive, but I've read more about your husband and what he does than anything about you.

Did I say raising kids was not tough, because I don't recall that. Maybe if you'd stop raging for a minute. And quite frankly, I have more important issues to worry about than what my future wife might think about something I said in my past.

But to get back on topic, I'll just stop.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Gumby's right. My brother talks shit about the Army ALL the damn time, and I can't tell you how many jokes are targetted towards the Air Force. It's all in good fun though.

How ya doing, buddy?

Though from what I hear, new Marines are being less and less respectable, and lazier. Must be a fucked up generation.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Maybe not all, but the ones at Twentynine Palms sure are dicks.

You also don't have you to arrogant to get your point across.

I can see you're a very one dimensional person. And who ever said they were a dick to me?
