Amon Tobin is the musician behind the Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory soundtrack. However, I'm not sure if he's done any film music, so if that's your definition of "notable" then I guess he wouldn't fall into that category ( although his music's been used on the BBC show "Top Gear" time and time again ).
