Currently playing Ar Tonelico. The game is really what I expected from Gust. I get the same good feeling I got when I played Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana. The game is pretty similiar to it, but at the same time entirely different. Basically if you liked Atelier Iris, you'll love this game as well.
It has a few really nice ideas in here. The battle system for one, is nothing like I've seen before. You have these females in your party, who are called Reyvateils, and they are what this entire game is about. They can sing special songs that can do just about anything. When the battle starts this gauge keeps going up from 0%. I've seen it go as far as 40000% so far, and the percentage determines the power of the spell. If done right you can pretty much kill anything in 1 shot. The other 3 members in battle can do damage as well, but their main purpose is to defend these Reyvateil long enough for them to cast the spell.
The dive system is another cool feature. You basically explore the mind of the Reyvateil in question, and learn more about her as you go along, and unlock new songs. I finally understand why they call it a date-sim RPG. =D
I'm also currently playing on a friends World of Warcraft account to powerlevel tailoring for him, but yeah...not so fun.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
Soldier: Prepare yourself, rebel scum!!
Arngrim : (These slipshod soldiers think they can call me "rebel scum"?)
