"Something nice" and saving a life are a little different.
It's like, I'm not going to score citizenship by throwing chocolates over the fence or anything. Thing is, I don't know that the guy wanted to stay in America indefinitely. Article said he wanted to work so he could feed all of his baby mamas back home. He also said it felt good to be home. Seems like a work visa would make this guy happy. Jam it back in, in the dark.
