Quake 4 is pretty good for a single player story. And It's pretty fun too. You do need a graphics card though. For about $120, you can get what I have, a 6600GT and be able to play most games decently. Then again, you could wait for a major overhaul later. I'm just saying 6600GT will suffice much of your gaming needs.
