Vesperia is hands-down the best jRPG on 360, no lie.
I would go with maybe Batman for the action game, or if you're up for it Bayonetta (which is the greatest character action game of this generation IMO). Also Portal 2 is excellent, and has split screen co-op and is adorable so that might be something your gf/wife would enjoy playing with you even if she's not real big on games. Yeah, if you get a Lego game do NOT get Lego Batman or the first Lego Indy games, they're not that great. Lego Indiana Jones 2, Lego Pirates, or Lego Star Wars Clone Wars are the way to go as they started making huge graphic and usability advances starting with Indy 2. I still love the original Lego Star Wars games, but it was roughhhhhh going back to it after playing Indy 2.
