Sorry, just woke up and got on. And holy shit we got Christmas!~
If you're still on here, gimmie a few minutes to make some breakfast and then we can meet up. Double Post: Holy shit, I just spent an assload of money. I managed to buy every single thing I wanted, and I have exactly 1,136 meseta left  . I was thrown slightly off because I didn't realize we would be able to buy mega/powers, and I didn't factor in costs for the new PAs on the new weapons. I wound up buying: (Remember I'm a cast fortegunner, 6* hunter weapons are for backup/melee only, which is why I went 6* and not 7* on them like I had originally planned) Mukarad (6* TW spear) - 35k Seva Falsan (6* TW Saber) - 35k Daga Sababba (6* TW Dagger) - 35k Falcon (6* GRM Rifle, backup rifle) - 35k Assassin (7* GRM Rifle) - 90k Shigga Boma (7* TW Shotgun) - 90k Gur Neda (7* TW Grenade Launcher) - 90k Laser Cannon (7* GRM Laser Cannon) - 90k Bulletmaster (7* GRM Twin Handguns) - 90k Cubo Upinde (7* TW Crossbow) - 90k Vulcan (6* GRM Mechgun) - 35k (Mechguns kinda suck, didn't want to spend 90k on one) Teroline (6* GRM Armor) - 95k Mega/Power Unit - 14,500 Sturm Buster SUV - 10k Boma Banga (Fire Grenade Launcher PA) - 5k Burning Prism (Fire Laser Cannon PA) - 5k Yak Diga (Earth Crossbow PA) - 5k? (I think) Revsys Arms (Cast parts) - 18k Revsys Torso (Cast parts) - 40k Revsys Legs (Cast parts) - 25k >_>; I also bought a couple of the new synth boards (the chao/jao one looks hilarious, I must get one somehow) as well. Also last night I got myself maxed out; I have 30 scape dolls (10 on me, 10 in storage, 10 in common box), 30 Megistrades, etc. So I'm as good to go as I'll ever be. I'm gonna get myself set up, probably do a quick run to get used to the new weapons and check out the new SUV, then check out S-rank stuff ^^. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I should be around. I may be off for a couple hours tonight, but late tonight I should be on for sure.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Oh shit, did you mean 5:30 PM? For some reason I thought you mean 5:30 AM, crap >_>
I'm kinda messing around soloing because I'm expecting to have to leave for a while any minute now. If anyone's still on in a few hours we'll try to meet up. Also I'll keep this open until I leave, if anyone sees it we can try to meet real quick to trade cards. I'll be soloing Valley of Carnage C on uni 15. Also have 20 Par Ebons for 2.5k in my shop if anyone needs. I was speaking idiomatically. |
lol, I just had to get off. I dunno if I'll be back on tonight >_>
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Uh, that's been going on for weeks and weeks now. I think there's only one or two people who know how to do it though, and it doesn't seem to have affected much. The guy doing it had about 10 million a couple weeks ago.
FELIPE NO |
PSU is just a little more obvious about the grind. In PSO, you grinded the same 4 sets of levels over and over in hopes that a rare would drop (that'd you actually pick up). In PSU, there's much more variety, and instead you grind to get materials to make said rares. In some cases you still have to find the boards or the rarer materials, but it's not as bad, and with PC shops you can buy them oftentimes, which was never an option in PSO.
The one thing I will give PSO is that I liked the level design better in PSO. The level design in PSU is sorta boring. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
You know if you chose the one month payment option, it's a recurring bill, right?
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Weird, I didn't have any billing problems with the recurring one month, showed up normally on my card about a week or so ago.
Locking your room is ineffective, and so is screenshotting the visitor log; if a character is deleted, they will not show up any longer on your log. So if I created say Marcus, PM bombed Winter, then deleted Marcus afterwards, Marcus would not show up on the visitor log. I just created an alt and dumped my shop on there, so there's not much they can do :P. Still very annoyed I have to do even that though. We'll see how things go, maybe Sega will even fix it >_>
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Does anyone know if they do this, if they can take items out of your shop or change prices? I've seen yes and no. Everything else is kinda whatever since I moved everything to an alt, and don't keep anything in common storage.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
. Financially I'm right back where I started before all the synthing (about 80k), but I've got an 8* rifle, twin guns, and shotgun to show for it, so I suppose that's not bad. I think sometime in the near future I'll start to set up an alt character I want to start playing with as well. I'm off the next 5 days, so I should be on some.I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
-Honestly, mechguns suck. At later ranks ATA is a big deal, and mechguns just blow completely unless you're a fortegunner, but even then they're pretty meh. They do okay damage if you're hitting consistently, but you go through PP like nothing, AND they're stuck at Status Effect Level 1. If they went 1->2->3 they'd be alright. I can't think of any reason to reccommend them at all. They're pretty generally shunned by everyone. -In handgun vs Crossbow, Crossbow will almost always in. They both have the same status effect levels (1-2-3). If you directly compare xbow/handguns of the same rank, you'll find that crossbows are a little stronger, a little more accurate, and have more PP. Crossbows have two disadvantages over handguns in your case though: -Crossbows have a little shorter range than handguns. If you're using the ranged weapon just to hit them as you're running up to them, you may not like that. -At lvl 11, Crossbows get 2 shots, however, they're in a fairly wide V pattern. This becomes awesome at 21 when you get 3 shots, but not so much until then. And you're going to be stuck at lvl 20 bullets, so not an option for you. Basically you could saw the Crossbow is a better weapon on paper, but for your puposes at a figunner, it may be more akward than a handgun. Edit: Oh, missed the bullet question. Depends on if you're going damage or status effects. Generally SE's are your main concern, since the elemental % on a bullet is only going to range from about 6-15%. -Ice is awesome early on, I loved it the first few hundred hours. However, on S-ranks, Ice as a SE is pretty useless, since enemies will break out of it in 2-4 hits tops. -Shock suprisingly takes over as probably the most commonly used bullet for SE's, because the duration is much longer, and it seems to be easier to apply it. With a lvl 21 shock shotgun (which only has lvl 2 SE), I can keep an entire room on LL S pretty much shocked consitently. Shock does not prevent all attacks, but it's solid. -Fire is also a very useful SE at higher ranks. Even if you're fighting a fire enemy, if you get fire to stick, you do either 4%dmg for 5 ticks, or 5% dmg for 4 ticks (I forget which). This is a lot when enemies have thousands and thousands of HP on S-rank. -Earth is generally pretty shitty (it does silence). However it does have some uses for sliencing the gohmons on S rank, and the temple people. It's good in general to have one earth weapon for those rare cases, as well as the fact that Parum is filled with lightning enemies. In your case though, since your guns are largely "backup," you may not need to bother. I was speaking idiomatically.
