This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
When our crew plays, we usually just all haul ass and book it regardless of anything else (usually someone will say "I'm scared, FUCK THIS"), but to be honest that's usually to give the other team a handicap more than anything, and even then they usually fail to stop us. I've had my three teammates be killed 5 seconds out of the safe room, but then made it to the end of the level completely be myself, with the entire enemy team chasing me.
Agreed that the scoring mechanic basically encourages this, but I still prefer the scoring over the first game. In the first one either you all made it, or your score was SHIT. I do think there's a better balance they could probably strike between the two, but if I have to choose between the two I'll definitely take the scoring in 2. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Even on rare occasions that I've played with randoms, I've never had this specific issue. Playing with random people in ANY game is going to be a mixed bag; complaining that random people are fucking you and aren't playing the game right happens with just about every online game, that's a people issue and not a game issue.
Also hauling ass with magnums is actually how everyone I've talked to recommended getting past expert/realism campaigns. I was speaking idiomatically. |
