Also, what is that thing from the Bazaar for 18,000 gil? Whatever it is, that's a lot of cash.
I think you must be talking about the Griomoire's (sp?) pack. Like what seanne said, they're basically items that enable you to get superior loots from certain enemies. I heard one of them (cost 22000/25000G) will really come in handy when you're against some skeletons in Golmore jungle (might be wrong on the location). Also, there'll be several events that'll trigger the appearance of these items at Bazaar.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Do any of you think that the Garuda boss was bloody easy as hell? I mean, he didn't even put up a fight. A group of 10 sandpeople do more damage than that flying piece of fuck! I just kept zapping him with lightning and watched the beast bite the dust before I could say "DEMON WALL". Speaking of which, the demon wall(s) look scary ;__;
Spoiler:
Yeah that boss was quite easy for me without the seed. I actually killed that monster they were after but I forgot to go back to the moogle. When I finally reached the entrance the merchant told me the axion was hard as hell and that the Yensa's had some weapon against it I went 'oh great I'm gonna get whooped'..but surpringly did not. Did the same as you, just spammed him with lightning/dark and he was down pretty quickly. I guess thunder was his elemental weakness as well.

Then again, 31 hours sounds pretty long to me for Tomb of Raithwall. Did you do some power levelling before this? That's probably why you could kill Garuda easily. I remember having a party of about level 18 when I faced Garuda.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I think if you're planning to complete all the hunts and sidequests, then consistent levelling of all party members will be necessary. I hate levelling so I only have my main party (Vaan, Basch, Ashe) and Fran levelled up nicely to about lvl 50 while Balthier and Penelo are still sitting ducks at lvl 18 I'm so far fine with storyline bosses but I attempted Zeromus and I nearly died even with the reserve party (and Reddas as a guest, he was so useless). I hate it when they seal one of your commands and I was doomed when this battle took away magick since I rely quite a lot on it.

Btw, any suggestions for me to get that stupid cluckatrice in Rabanastre (lost cluckatrices sidequest)? I swear I nearly broke my controller into two after chasing that damn chicken for 20 minutes...

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Hmm? I actually rely quite a bit on Black Magic (at least for the mages) At Level 50 Ashe's magic stats is about 70+ and she's dishing out almost same damage as melees or even more (9999 on enemies weak to the element)

I don't have Scathe yet so I can't say anything bout it but I've heard that it's a pretty awesome spell.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Alright I've power leveled my guys to level 83 on the dot. I'm ready for Gilgmesh, what should I equip? =O
At level 83 I don't think there should be anything you should be worried about since his lvl 2, 3 and 4 attacks shouldn't affect you at all. I brought my party of about level 60-70 and I whooped him up fairly quickly (with occasional Reverse+decoy). My only regret is that I forgot to steal the Genji glove and shield from him and I couldn't restart since I overwrote the save file

Just defeated Pylraster and Ixion, had some difficulties beating both with party levels around 60+..I had to restart 3 times for Pylraster because he would kill off 1 character with Rage like a sec before someone starts the quickening.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
