Maybe more of a nitpick than a question...
But I hate how vB 3.5.4 gives the locations of avatar images wrong - it assumes that they are all GIF's.
Particularly annoying when I want to save someone's avatar and my browser wants to save it as avatar####.gif.jpg rather than avatar####.jpg. And no, it isn't a problem with my browser; I'm using FireFox and I clear the cache regularly. When I check the Propertiesn for an avatar, its location shows it to be avatar####.gif rather than avatar####.jpg which it realy ought to be. Conclusion: vB is probably saving all images serverside with .GIF extension rather than their original extension. Jam it back in, in the dark.

Point is, it's a stupid, rather annoying bug in vB.
