Yeah. MAgnets are just another dead end as far as "free energy" goes. There is no such thing as free energy. Any high school physics teacher can show you that.
What would happen to magnets that are kept close together long enough like this is eventually their particles would lose their ordering and they would no longer be magnetic. Jam it back in, in the dark.
