I never heard of this game until I saw this thread. One reason why I never liked those oldie 1st person dungeon crawlie-type RPGs was because I hated the idea of having to make your own map on pencil and paper, and of course I always ended up getting lost. D'oh!
Reading comments on this game does perk my interest though, especially with the awesome idea of making my own map DIGITALLY. One thing I don't like is how the monsters are designed by that same person who did FFIX. I never really liked the monster designs in that game, but that's barely a legitimate complaint. Future Shop's website doesn't even list this game! Oh no! Update: Neither does Best Buy! WTF! We were unable to find exact matches for your search: for Etrian Odyssey in Entire Site. Crappy website! Jam it back in, in the dark.
