I enjoyed Escape From MI more. I thought it was funnier. However, I do prefer CMI's cartoony look to EMI's art stye.

Any of LucasArt's games are worthy, so take your pick. In addition to the famous ones like the Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island series, there's also stuff like The Dig (it's more serious than funny, but still excellent), Full Throttle (short game, but really fun) and Grim Fandango (one of LA's last adventure games). Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is one of the best adventure games ever, so be sure to play that. Oh, and try to get the CD-ROM version, since it has all the voices. LA has some of the best voice acting in the biz.

You should also check out The Longest Journey. It's a good game, but I did hate the ending.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
