OMG DATS is on a roll!!! Episode 31 is out!! Dunno why they're releasing them so fast recently, but I'm not complaining!

AHHH! I just watched ep 31 yesterday and now they have 32 out?! Yay yay! They're sure going on overdrive.

P.S. Ep 31 was funny! I have an animated GIF of the water scene :D Too bad it's over 1MB, otherwise I'd use it here.

I'm loving the humor in the past few eps so far, while still managing to maintain the dark feel of the show. I'm anxiously awaiting BanchouLeomon's return. He's awesome.

I wonder if Savers will have around 50 eps in total like the past seasons.

Hey, is anyone reading that manga, Digimon Next? I just started reading it yesterday and it has a lot of similiarities to Savers.

It stars a goggle boy with an Agumon partner, and there are other tamers with other Savers Digimon like Gaomon and Peckmon for partners. Also, in a later chapter, Agumon suddenly gets those straps on his arms when he never had any before. He even evolves to GeoGreymon at one point. I presume the show came first, and the manga is influenced by it, hence the straps.

The artwork is pretty cool, and the Gaomon in Next has a more active personality than the one in Savers. Granted, he starts saying more stuff in later eps, but still, the only thing he ever said at the beginning was "Yes, master."

After viewing the latest episodes, I've lost all respect for Touma and Gaomon now. I used to hate them, then liked them, and now I hate them all over again. Gaomon's worst 'cause he's a goddamn sheep and doesn't think for himself. Being loyal is one thing, but mindlessly following orders is another.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I had the same problem too, Conan, with the earlier eps, but keep trying. They go on and off pretty much. I was able to get all eps recently from those same torrents, and I thought they were dead too.

Yes, ep 35 is the last release so far. Should be more coming this week.

o where the hell did BanchoLeomon go in this ep? I thought it was odd that he wasn't around when this crisis was going on.

Did anyone else thought it was cute when Masaru was giving the digitama a piggyback ride? ^_^

Tamers is my fave too, and I like Savers. The first several episodes may seem like filler central which you may not like, but it does pick up a lot after that. The current subbed eps are great.

I had a bizarre dream last night!! I was in a store/warehouse place and they had lots of Digimon figures and keychains, but they were not the same Digimon I know. It looked like they went through a makeover! BlackWarGreymon, for instance, looked like a more traditional dragon in my dream. I also saw vividly saw a Growlmon, and he was different looking too. They were not X versions. Then I woke up.

Nope, not realistic at all. It's hard to explain exactly what they look like. They're still cartoony, but with a totally different look.

Still haven't seen ep 41 yet. I will tonight or tomorrow.

Hey, it's time for an update, fellow Tamers. I got good news and bad news. I'll get the bad news out first so the good news won't make the bad news sound so bad. Uh, yeah...

I just got word that Savers will stop at ep 48, which makes it the shortest Digimon season ever. It's only a few eps short from Frontier. Dammit! Even worse, there's no news of any 6th season, so watch the remaining eps with love because that's all you're going to be getting for a long while *sob!*

That's not all the bad news either. The Savers movie clocks in at 20 minutes, thus making it the shortest Digimon movie ever. What? Why are they shortening everything Savers related? There's not even as much CDs compared to the other seasons too. The music, characters, etc, are a hell lot better than Frontier *sob!*

Now for the good news.

Savers will get character songs finally. YAY! Confirmed are solo performances by Masaru, Agumon, Tohma, Gaomon and BanchoLeomon (:D), a duet with Ikuto and Falcomon, plus a song with all of them and both OPs and EDs. Oddly, Yoshino and Raramon don't get songs, which gets a big WTF from me. I just hope Agumon sings better than the Adventures Agumon. Ye gads, he made my ears bleed >_>

Here's the craptastic cover! Why Yoshino is on it when she doesn't get a song is anyone's guess.

Well, we should at least be grateful that Savers came out at all. Back when Frontier ended, I thought for sure that was the end of Digimon, so imagine my complete surprise when Savers appeared. Actually, I'm sort of glad they're not thinking of having endless seasons. I don't want it to end up like Pokémon. That series ended up driving itself into the ground, with the same damn plot every season and the same characters over and over. No originality whatsoever. Ugh.

Considering the fact Savers did better ratings-wise than Frontier, there's still hope for a 6th season, even if nothing has been announced.

You do realize that it only happened in the third season, right? Oh, and the fact that once the Digimon evolved to Champions and up, they stopped the cards right? The cards gave the Rookies new skills, but once they evolved, they didn't need the cards anymore.

The third season was the best in the series too.

Episode 44 is out. DATS seem to be on hyper mode.

Noooo, I'm pretty sure what SephirothStrife meant was the card slashing theme in Tamers. I assumed he only saw a few episodes and didn't realize the Tamers stopped using the cards when the Digimon could evolved.

As for the card game, I have quite a collection too, but I never played the game. I read the instructions, but I couldn't understand any of it. I'll stick to YGO. It's much easier to learn.

I will watch eps 41, 42 and 43 back to back tonight. I'll post comments afterwards. In the meantime, I got a mess of pics for you to look at. They're the complete evolution line of Coronamon and Lunamon, the two starring Digimon in the upcoming Digimon Story 2 DS games.

Their lines go like this:

Sunmon -> Coronamon -> Firamon -> Flaremon -> Apollomon
Moonmon -> Lunamon -> Rekisumon -> Crescemon -> Dianamon

Their Mega forms are named after the Greek gods, although one is a Goddess. They are twin brother and sister.

I am really digging Coronamon's evolution line. I normally don't care for lion type characters, but Digimon always seem to come up with some wicked lion designs. Leomon and BanchouLeomon are among some of my favourite monsters. Apollomon reminds me of Agunimon, only much better.

Lunamon's evos are okay, I guess. I'm not really fond of fairy humanoid types. I suppose they're trying to base the line on Antylamon, and I prefer Antylamon to Lunamon's line.

P.S. The Savers movie hasn't appeared yet on DVD.

P.P.S. Here's an image of a brand new Rookie dragon Digimon, which gives some hope of a 6th season or a new manga at least. I think Dracomon could be the very first dragon Rookie with wings. Maybe finally we can get an official Rookie form of Airdramon?

Episode 45 is out!

Even if we can't battle in Digimon DS, we can still trade. That's the only way you can get certain Digimon, like Veemon. If you don't have him yet, I can help you with that. It's cool that you can get Imperialdramon Dragon mode in this game. In the other games, you can only get Fighter mode.

I love pretty much all dragon Digimon. They always have such cool designs, compared to Pokémon. Ugh.

If I ever hear any news about any new season or manga, I'll be sure to post it here!

P.S. I don't see how they can cram everything in a mere four episodes. I hope they don't rush it, but chances are they probably will
