I just finished watching it and it's far better than the 3rd episode!

I really liked Drimogemon. He looked like a child who imprinted himself on the first humans he's met (kinda like chicks and ducks), and went along for the ride without knowing good from bad, but then got angry when the guys were in danger. Does anyone else feel sorry for him? :( According to the preview, I wish he'd had evolved to something new instead of an old Digimon we've already seen a lot of.

Touma wasn't as annoying in this episode, but Gaomon doesn't seem to have his own mind, which bugs me. All he's said in 98% of the episode was 'Yes, master.' I mean, geez, doesn't he ever form his own opinion or anything? He's so boring!

Well, since you didn't post spoilers...

Masaru only wanted to beat Drimogemon to show Tohma that he wasn't useless to DATS. That's the impression I got out of it. What IS surprising is that Tohma was the one who went after Drimogemon to the Digital World, even going as far as to defy the Commander's orders. That's certainly something I would have seen Masaru doing instead.

Aww, I think Drimogemon was just fine. He was just a scared Digimon and wasn't willing to fight. Something tells me he's was only acting the part though, considering he can apparently leave and enter the Digital World whenever he pleases. That sounds fishy to me. Maybe something or someone is controlling the Digimon.

I don't think Masaru's a normal human, as he displays incredible jumping power. Haha. Anyway, I think he has to punch a Digimon everytime to get the digi-soul because he's just inexperienced, whereas Tohma and Yoshino have been with DATS for quite a while now and can simply evolve their Digimon with relative ease. I suspect as the show goes on, Masaru should be able to do the same. Well, either that or Masaru has a deep dark secret we don't know about yet.

Raramon wasn't that useless in this episode for once. She actually defeated Numemon, not that it's anything to brag about XD

Pretty darn good episode, although I would have liked Digmon to have a little more screentime. It looks like he was defeated a tad too easily. Although some people may not like it, but Masaru and Tohma have bonded somewhat, making them more friendlier rivals than other rivalries (Naruto and Sasuke for example). I actually like this idea, as opposed to dragging out an entire season's worth of "I hate you, you're better than me!" Maybe Tohma would lose his 'prick' status from now on, which to me sounds like a very good idea.

I just apparently realized today that Gaogamon has a curled tail, making him more of a spitz dog than a true wolf, which I'm glad for since two past seasons have already featured wolves.

Next episode looks to be great, and I can't wait to see it! First we have Elecmon, the cute rabbity thing, and then we have BlackGarurumon! Awesome! I would've liked to see BlackWereGarurumon instead, but he did appear in Frontier, so I guess Toei didn't want to repeat themselves. Masaru and Agumon appears to be fighting for the first time, which is something that hasn't been done before in Digimon. It'd be interesting to see what will come out of this one.

Eh? I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in WTW that Savers has lots of groups subbing Savers, WPP being one of them. I can't remember their names though.

I don't have any problems with WTW from what I've seen so far. WPP is good, but they're so slow. Kinda like what Toriyama's World did with Naruto >_>

I normally hate Agumon, but he's cool in Savers, so I don't mind him being in there anymore. He's not the same Agumon from Adventure.

I think they're just too busy right now. I don't think they'll drop the series though. They seem dedicated to me.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I thought the entire episode was filler at first, but it does tell you a lot about Tohma's mysterious past. Apparently his childhood wasn't full of happiness, compared to other people, which brings out a whole new side to him.

I quite liked the episode. Tohma actually wasn't being annoying (and a jerk) for once, it had some funny parts, and there's a lot of funny expressions. The Digimon battle was blah though, but that's the only low point. It looks like the next episode's going to feature Yoshino in her 'starring' episode, much like this episode.

I got all the dubbed eps burned on CD save one. It's crappy quality with a small viewing area, but its better than nothing >_> I've only seen a few episodes of the subbed version and I actually prefer the dub, as some of the funny jokes aren't in the original version. The voices for both versions are good, however, so I can't complain there.

I haven't watched episode 9 yet. I'm planning on watching 9 and 10 back to back. I've read on the WtW forum that they're gonna be speedy with the next batch of Savers episodes, so expect more eps to be released shortly! Maybe I should grab them all and save them for a Savers marathon. Tamers is only a side project, by the way.

I love Believer too, and I just added that to my MP3 player last night :D

Currently, Savers may become my second favourite season, although that may change once I start seeing more episodes. It's hard to judge with just the first batch.

I've seen all eps up to 11 already. I didn't like ep 9 much. 10 and 11 are better. Ep 11 actually advances the plot. Gaomon actually has a personality now.

Update! I just saw eps 12 and 13. The main plot is finally picking up, and the two eps are good. Cool stuff. In ep 13,

I just watched the ep. SPOILERS! Don't be stupid and read it if you haven't seen it yet.

Gawd, this ep was pretty sad. First it was fine and normal and funny, and then we see Touma as a kid (gosh, he's so bloody cute), and then we see his mom die.

I was in tears! My own mom died Nov 7th last year, which isn't too far away. The episode was good, but the whole mom dying thing is no fun since I've experienced the same thing in real life :(

On the flip side, MachGaogamon was awesome. he's definitely more wolfish than Gaogamon. I think Gaogamon is a dog though. Anyway, this is also the first time that Gaomon smiled and Touma is becoming a lot more likable now too. I may have to rethink my opinion about those two.

Random pointless info: Masaru's voice actor also voices a character in Higurashi, the show I was just talking about in my last post. I keep thinking of the other when I see them now :D

Yes, both RiseGreymon and MachGaogamon are awesome. I agree that the way the flashbacks were handled in ep 15 was well done. I dunno if I can watch it ever again though :(

However, I do have some sad news. WtW announced that ep 15 may be their last. Ugh. However, another group is currently subbing eps at ep 16 and up. I've never heard of this group before, so I've no idea how good they are. I'm already DLing ep 16.

I just watched ep 16 and the subbing wasn't bad at all actually. Not as good as WtW of course, but still better than I had hoped.

I think the show is finally starting to get some better eps now that they actually have a purpose. As usual, MachGaogamon and RiseGreymon rocked hard. I'll watch ep 17 tomorrow.

P.S. For a falcon, Falcomon looks like an owl.

P.P.S. The Ultimate evo theme (track 2 in the OST) is AWESOME.

Admit it. His stance and expression ROCKS. He still doesn't replace WereGarurumon as my fave, but he's coming close to it!


UPDATE: Ijust saw ep 17! I didn't like it very much.

I don't like those eps where someone (and usually almost always a girl) thinks they're weak and useless despite the fact that they've FOUGHT BEFORE, only then finds courage in the end and beat the bad guys. PPPFT. Weak. Oh, and Lilamon has some crappy attack names like Beauty Slap and Marvel Shot. After attacks like Howling Cannon and Trident Revolver,it's just...lame.

Eps 18 and 19 may be a double episode download. WAHOO! Can't wait to see it!

AHHHH!! A Digimon game with frickin' CEL-SHADING. There is a God! THANK YOU!!!!

The PS2 game is called Digimon Savers: Another Mission. Another plus is that the game is based on an actual TV show for once, meaning we're gonna have Masaru and company in it instead of a random no-name stupid kid like in the past RPGs!

Unfortunately, since it is a Digimon game, it's probably goign to suck like the other RPGs. I'd buy it anyway (the English version, of course) just for the cel-shading though. Even WereGarurumon is in it!

Judging from ep 21, something's big's going to happen in the next several eps. The ending is very Tamers-isque :D
