I'm playing it right now. I don't really watch FMA but from what I can tell it follows the storyline pretty faithfully and there's a lot of cutscenes and dialogue so I'm guessing fans of the series will like that. It's a standard Final Fight clone but the touch screen elements seem pretty forced (you have to touch dots and crap...). I can see a lot of people not liking this unless they really like Final Fight/Double Dragon style beat em ups.
Jam it back in, in the dark.

Upon further review, this game sucks. Especially if you're not already an FMA fan.
Apparently you can play as Roy after beating the game. I wouldn't know, I stopped playing after becoming frustrated with the repetitive and dull gameplay. Final Fight and Double Dragon are classic "beat em up" games where you walk around beating up lots of enemies. However in those games you could do lots of different combos and moves like holds, throws, grappling, and use different weapons. Here you have like 2 combos and can make platforms and crap. People looking for a deep and hardcore beat em up experience will be disappointed. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
