I am about 1 1/2 hours into it and I like it very much so far. Space pirate RPGs rock. Also, the fact that there are talking cats into it just make the game so much better
I think this will be fun.Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I kind of like the battle system. The only thing that I think is totally disastrous is the menu design and that it takes ages to change equipment and stuff like that. I don't see any problems with the story and the characters so far (although there is a HEAVY Star Wars resemblance), but I'm only like 3 hours into the game, so maybe the downside is yet to come.
And yeah, the voice acting is amazing! There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Like SouthJag, I am actually trying to explore every single space on the map to make sure I can run into as many battles as possible, because they are so cool, while in other RPGs, I often find myself thinking "oh damn not another battle =/", so it's quite cool, so far. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
How ya doing, buddy? |
Well, I must say that I am pretty disappointed after all. The first couple of hours were pretty awesome, the cutscenes were pretty much phenomenal, but as for everything else, it just got very repetitive and very boring. Additionally, the menus are a catastrophy. If you want to equip an armor for instance, it takes like half a minute to do so. It is quite complicated, which doesn't make things better
