[DS] How do you get 3,000 pikachus on a bus? POKEMON!

Now that I finished Suikoden V and got that out of the way I'm finally gonna start working on this game. I got my first badge and now have a friend code:

I'm somewhat of a n00b to pokemon. I was into the original blue version that came out on gameboy. Never really played after that, and I pretty much forgot most of the weaknesses and everything. I guess I'll learn as I play through this one.

I just mooched an eevee from Kairyu. I'm going to make it the strongest pokemon in the world.

After not touching this game for a whole year I'm finally completing it. The game seems a bit unbalanced at the point I'm at. I fight every trainer I come across and for awhile I was higher leveled than all the trainers and gym leaders. But now that up to badge 6 it seems like my pokemon are slowly becoming underleveled. I can still win fine, it's just that I'm worried that at the slow rate I'm leveling up now if I'll be ready for the elite 4 and the final battle with Cynthia and her level 70 pokemon. ;_; I'm raising 6 pokemon evenly and they're all around level 32/33. Do you guys usally just focus on leveling just 3 or 4 pokemon or am I just rushing ahead too fast?

I guess I could go back and explore all those new areas with my surf ability.

How does it work? Like a normal pokemon trade with a trainer? Is it a download outside the game? If I'm the only one there can I take them all? XD

I'm like the complete opposite. My work place, which is full of adults, see me in the breakroom playing Pokemon all the time. None of them make fun of me or anything. In fact, one of the girls commented on it and said she thinks pikachu is cute. I guess I'm not ashamed of playing games like this in public.

The only person who makes fun of me is my boss. But for some reason she thinks anything by Nintendo is aimed at kids. Like, when my early copy of Brawl arrived I was running around the office with it bragging that I had a copy of the game before the street date. She told me to grow up and play an adult system like the 360.

I got mine too. Kairyu and I should have gotten one when we saw the stupid movie in Japan but they were racist and only let people with the JP version get one.
