Number 4 here. Arrived at my Gamestop around 8 AM and there were only 3 people outside. All of them were college students from Davis who came to our store to avoid the huge lines at their college town. Around 9:10 the gamestop employee handed out 11 cards (we had a bigger line by then). He then gave us the responsibility of turning people away after that.
It's funny too because people would drive by and get excited at there only being 11 people outside only to be told they aren't gonna get one and to go home. It's like telling them their cat died. XD Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Which also means more people will most likely be willing to line up for one (like moms and dads). :333
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Aww... I was really hoping that somehow my gamecube component cables would work with the wii. I originally bought them for Twilight Princess before all the delays took place. But now that I'm playing it on wii I basically just wasted my money.
http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802520 I hope this isn't the only one being sold. 60 dollars is a high price. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I just went into Gamestop today to trade in some games and
1 Nintendo Wii Console $249.99....Check! Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess $49.99....Check! Trauma Center: Second Opinion $49.99....Check! Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz $49.99....Check! And then I bought the Component Cables with the fastest shipping from Nintendo's Store (thanks Acer) Wii Component Cables $46.06 (with delivery and tax)....Check! I am good to go this Saturday night. Only thing I'm not sure about is if I'll get my Component Cables in time. $420+ credit card bill confirmed. Ouch! I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
You will rob an old lady of her purse and buy Zelda if you have to. Do it NOW!
I was speaking idiomatically. |
I'm pulling off the hardest thing to do right now. I'm holding off playing Zelda just one more week until my component cables come in. The game just looks too ugly and blurry with composite on my LCD TV. I know the gameplay is what it's all about but I wanna make this experience the best one possible. To do that I have no choice but to wait.
Screw you, Nintendo! I have waited so long for this Zelda game and now I can't play it because component cables are hard to obtain and cost 100+ on ebay. Until then it's all Wii Sports, Trauma Center and Monkey Ball. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Looks like the component cables aren't shipping on the 28th. They have now been delayed until December 18th.
http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs...rderTotal=null I am extremely disappointed right now. Most amazing jew boots |
I see where they're all going:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search...tSearch=Search Fuck that! What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Hahaha! They updated it. I complained to Nintendo about this and they said its for the 3rd shipment. So no more h8 for Nintendo.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Still a lot cheaper than those ebay auctions.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
My component cables finally shipped today. I am soooooo happy!
